The Shademaster grows into the beautiful rounded shape with small leaves and widely spaced branches. This will cast a lovely dappled shade below that is enough to keep you cool, but not too much to jeopardize the growth of grass or other plants under it. It has nicely green leaves through the summer, and turn a lovely golden-yellow in the fall. Many types of honeylocusts have imposing thorns and large seedpods but the Shademaster is both thornless and seedless.
Shademaster, isn't fazed by street or air pollution, salt, or challenging soils. It requires practically no maintenance: give it plenty of sunlight and watch this fast growing tree thrive.
