A very hardy species that is used for landscape as well as windbreaks, hedges, etc. Short needles with light green (blue tinge) needles. They can also be used as Christmas trees, but have poor needle retention once cut. They should be planted in full sunlight and can adapt to both dry and moist soils. They can tolerate some road salt and urban pollution.
